WifOR is an independent economic research institute, founded in 2009 as a spin-off from the Technical University of Darmstadt. As experts in macroeconomic analysis, our research focuses on the areas of labor markets, health, and sustainability. Through our studies, WifOR’s mission is to enable data-based solutions to challenges on the labor market, set global standards in Impact Measurement, and illuminate the value of health investments worldwide. WifOR has over 75 employees located in Germany, Greece, Latin America, and the USA.
Your tasks
- Literature research
- Assistance in projects
- Data analysis in Excel, R, or Python (depending on the project)
- Preparing and adapting presentations
Your profile
- You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in economics or a similar field
- You have an affinity for data and enjoy working in a detail-oriented manner
- You are confident in using common MS Office applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- You have some knowledge of working with R and Python
- You like to familiarize yourself quickly with new topics
- You may already have some knowledge of social policy or labor economics
